Caravan Fit-Out

Caravan Fit-Out & Electrical (limited) Technician

This position is perfect for someone with automotive, RV, or electrical trade experience who takes pride in detailed, high-quality workmanship.

You'll handle the final fit-out, testing, and electrical installation of new caravans to ensure they're ready for handover.

The successful applicant must have good work ethics, be able to work in a small collaborative team environment and when required, be involved in answering call, assisting with sales and handovers etc.

• Current driver's licence required
• Proficient in towing vehicles beneficial
• Knowledge of RV Standards and Electrical Safety regulations is required
• Ability to work with 240v an advantage

Key responsibilities:

• Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) and final quality checks.
• Install and test 12V systems – solar, inverters, chargers, batteries, lighting, pumps, and appliances.
• Build the battery boxes in caravans
• Fitment of dust reduction systems, anti sway controllers and reverse cameras
• Diagnose and repair minor electrical, plumbing, or mechanical issues.
• Maintain workshop standards and follow safety and quality procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Background in automotive, mechanical, RV, or marine trades.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in automotive, mechanical, RV, or marine trades is preffered
• Confident with 12V electrical systems and fault-finding.
• Advanced level experience with 12V electrical systems and fault-finding is preffered
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Highly regarded (not essential):

• Trade qualification in Auto-Electrical, RV Service, or Mechanical.
• Experience fitting caravan or camper electrical systems.
• Basic plumbing or wiring certification.
• Ability to complete electrical certification for Caravans an advantage
