About the role

Eastwood Seafood Supplier is looking for full-time and part-time Shop Clerk based in Eastwood, Sydney. This role will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations of the seafood shop.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and assisting customers with product selection and purchases
  2. Preparing and packaging seafood products for sale
  3. Stocking and maintaining the display cases and shelves
  4. Handling cash and processing customer payments
  5. Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
  6. Providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience
  7. Supporting the overall operations of the seafood shop

What we're looking for

  1. Proficiency in speaking Mandarin Chinese and/or Cantonese is required
  2. Previous experience in a customer service or retail role preferred but not essential
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers
  4. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  5. Ability to perform physical labour
  6. Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
  7. Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
