A national architecture and design studio seeks a Health Specialist Architect to join their Melbourne team. Known for creating innovative and human-centric environments across the health sector, this collaborative and research-driven practice offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to the wellbeing of communities. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior architect with deep healthcare experience to take the reins on significant public and private health projects, both locally, and nationally. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of complex healthcare projects across various stages
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams, ensuring design excellence and compliance with health planning standards
  • Liaise with key stakeholders including clients, consultants and end-users
  • Translate clinical briefs into functional, efficient, and future-proof design solutions
  • Contribute to business development and thought leadership in the healthcare sector

Skills & Experience

  • Registration as an Architect (ARBV)
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience, with a strong focus on health projects
  • Proven ability to lead complex healthcare projects from briefing through to delivery
  • Deep understanding of health planning, clinical workflows, and relevant codes
  • Revit proficiency essential
  • Stong communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with senior clients and consultants
