Senior Project Engineer | Sydney Based | Civil & Utilities Projects

About the Role:

As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll work as a 2IC to a PM/SPM to take the lead on planning, delivery, and stakeholder management across key infrastructure initiatives aligned with project standards. You'll work closely with contractors, consultants, and government bodies to ensure compliance, quality, and strong project outcomes. Open to PE's looking to make the step up to SPE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full project lifecycle – from planning to delivery
  • Coordinate with team of engineers, site supervisors, consultants, and external stakeholders
  • Oversee budgets, Programme, quality, and Safety
  • Oversee procurement, documentation, and regulatory approvals
  • Champion safety, compliance, and high-quality delivery
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and under budget

Experience required

  • 8+ years' post grad experience, preferably in civil/infrastructure
  • Strong working knowledge of TfNSW processes, specs, and standards - desired
  • Sydney Water or major utilities experience - desired
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Local experience in NSW Market desired
