About the Role

We're seeking a Local Worship Director who is passionate about both people and worship. In this role, you'll work under Ps Jessie Rose and the executive leadership team, giving support and leadership to the Worship Team. You'll invest in their growth through pastoral care, encouragement and skill development. Alongside this, you'll oversee administration, coordinate worship in services and create training opportunities that inspire excellence and strengthen the culture of worship in our church.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the growth and development of the Worship Team
  • Oversee worship across all KCC services
  • Provide pastoral support and encouragement to team members
  • Manage administration within the Worship Department
  • Plan and coordinate worship events
  • Create pathways for training and team development that inspire excellence

Key Requirements

  • Proficiency in at least one instrument (ideally multiple) at a high standard
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience serving in a church (volunteer or staff) at a leadership or high responsibility level
  • Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Australian/NZ citizens, permanent residents or hold a valid work visa
