The role

As a Social Media Specialist, you'll collaborate with the social and content teams to deliver platform-specific strategies that drive engagement, growth, and conversions. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that City Beach maintains a bold and engaging social presence that aligns with our brand strategy while deeply connecting with our evolving Gen Z audience.

You'll bring fresh ideas, spot emerging trends, and understand how content impacts performance and sales. This role is hands-on, creative, and metrics-driven.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and execute content calendars and marketing campaigns with the Social Media Manager

  • Curate and schedule platform-specific content in collaboration with the design team

  • Create and edit visual content and write engaging, on-brand captions

  • Analyse performance metrics to optimise content and engagement

  • Manage community engagement—responding to messages, comments, and inquiries

  • Tag products for conversion using Foursixty and VOP

  • Oversee user-generated content and assist in campaign shoots and events

  • Stay up to date with industry trends to inform strategy

What you'll need to bring:

  • 1+ year in a similar role, ideally in fashion or a digital agency

  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager and social media scheduling tools

  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat

  • Excellent writing skills with a flair for brand storytelling

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and basic photo editing
