About the role

The Partnerships Coordinator will play a critical role in growing, maintaining and optimising AIRAH's partner and sponsorship relationships. This position is about forging mutually beneficial alliances with organisations, education institutions, associations and other stakeholders to advance AIRAH's mission in the HVAC&R industry.

This role can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis, depending on the candidate's experience and availability.

Job role and responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new sponsorship, advertising, and partnership opportunities across AIRAH's channels (events, editorial, digital).
  • Create tailored, compelling proposals that align client objectives with AIRAH's strategic and commercial goals.

Account and Relationship Management

  • Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of commercial partners, sponsors, and advertisers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, delivering high-quality client service and long-term engagement.
  • Represent AIRAH at industry events and meetings to build visibility and strengthen stakeholder relationships.

Campaign and Deliverable Execution

  • Plan and coordinate sponsorship deliverables across events, digital, and print to ensure expectations are exceeded.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Events, Professional Development, Engagement) to deliver integrated campaigns and benefits.
  • Track deliverables, manage timelines, and ensure fulfilment of all contractual obligations.

Strategic Support and Market Insights

  • Contribute to the development of commercial strategies that span membership, media, and events.
  • Monitor emerging trends in HVAC&R, B2B media, and sponsorship to inform product development and partnership offers.
  • Provide reporting and insights to guide future partnership planning and decision-making.

Operational and Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of partner activity, agreements, and performance in CRM systems.
  • Process partnership agreements and work with internal teams to manage execution and delivery.
  • Align with the marketing and communications team on partner promotion and campaign visibility.
