Tax Accountant

Goldspring & Co is a boutique accounting firm looking for a motivated Accountant (2–3 years' experience) to join our growing team. We have been assisting clients with their tax and advisory needs since 1992.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience, mentoring, and the chance to make a real impact in a supportive small-team environment.

In this role, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of accounting and business advisory work, including:

• Preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Preparing BAS/IAS and liaising with the ATO, ASIC, and other regulators.
• Assisting with client advisory, QBCC reporting, and tax planning.
• Preparing ASIC documents and setting up new companies, trusts, and SMSFs.

You'll be an enthusiastic professional who is committed to learning and career growth. You'll bring:

• 2–3 years' experience in an Australian public practice accounting role.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Commerce (or equivalent).
• Experience with Xero and/or MYOB (highly regarded).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive, accountable approach — taking ownership of tasks from start to finish.
