We are a modern, Dental practice with an energetic team looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team in Wickham and Belmont. Our practice offers a full range of high quality, General Dentistry, as well as a comprehensive range of cosmetic services.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for a Dental Assistant (part-time and full-time candidates accepted) who:

  • Demonstrates an ability to take initiative and welcome new tasks

  • Have a passion for learning new and innovative techniques in general and cosmetic Dentistry

No dental assisting experience is required. On the job training will be provided to the successful candidate. We are looking for the right person to fit in with the positive, passionate and respectful culture of our growing team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Providing exceptional patient care and safety
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all practice and patient information
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, multi-task, work independently and collaboratively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Dental assisting with procedures, lab work with state of the art equipment and aftercare
  • Maintaining and sterilising equipment
  • Use of dental software
  • Work closely with administrative staff to manage patient flow
  • Monitoring and ordering dental consumables stock
  • When required handling of telephone calls, mail, faxes and email with efficiency
  • Opening or closing the dental practice where required
  • Supporting flexibility in practice staffing arrangements
  • Enjoy a modern practice with a strong patient base who know and trusts them
  • Work within a team of like-minded professionals, who support and encourage their professional development
  • Demonstrate their exceptional ability to communicate with patients and the broader team in a collaborative environment
  • Be appreciated for their contribution to the practice
  • Make a meaningful difference to the health and lives of others
