Achievers Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team in St Johns Park, NSW. This is a part-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the care and development of young children in a nurturing and supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children aged 0-5 years
  • Implementing engaging and age-appropriate activities, focused on play-based learning and the holistic development of each child
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborating with parents and guardians to support the individual needs of each child
  • Documenting children's progress and development, and contributing to the centre's planning and evaluation processes
  • Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

  • Certificate III WT Diploma/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA approved)
  • Experience working in a childcare or early learning environment, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to promoting the wellbeing and development of young children
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the children and the centre
  • Current First Aid, CPR and Working with Children certifications
  • Eligible to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and its implementation
  • Understanding of the National Quality Standards (NQS) and quality improvement processes
