We are a large Facilities Management organization looking for an experienced Cleaning Operative for our site in Smithfield NSW.

The ideal applicant will be well presented, proactive and able to work well on their own. They will also be able to use their initiative in their daily routine to provide services that are of a high standard. We look forward to welcoming motivated individuals who are dedicated to providing quality cleaning services.

Position available:

  • Part-Time Cleaner (Monday (5pm to 9pm), Tuesday to Friday (5pm to 8pm)

Daily duties will include but not be limited to

  • Cleaning room process, this involves setting up cleaning chemicals and equipment to clean walls, medical cabinets, benches, trolleys and floors.
  • Remove any waste from process, i.e. chemicals containers, vials, or glass.
  • Following strict security and OHS procedures.
  • Reporting to your supervisor and/or duty manager

Applicants must have

  • Demonstrated work experience in general cleaning.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to document process, i.e. filling out records of dilution of chemicals, cleaning logs and evidence of following process
  • Willingness to wear full protective PPE (no breathing apparatus required)
  • Ability to work independently alone when required
  • Understanding of OHS practices
  • Well presented and ability to follow safety instructions
  • Must be able to pass an Australian National Police Clearance
  • Demonstrate Working Rights in Australia
