Role Description

This is a contract role for a Commercial Cookery Trainer. The Commercial Cookery Trainer will be responsible for delivering practical training, assessing student competencies and maintaining student records.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in commercial cookery and culinary training
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Knowledge of industry standards and training regulations
  • Strong competency in using Microsoft products and technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to mentor and support students
  • Experience in using online Learner Management Systems (Axcelerate) is preferred yet not essential as training will be provided.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent qualification
  • Current qualification in Commercial Cookery to Certificate III or above
