About the Practice:

Our Healthy Smiles Dental Grouppractice is well known for its cosmetic implant and general dentistry. We are a solid, stable team looking for an experienced Practice Manager as we prepare for a significant growth in customer volumes. Team dynamic is incredibly important to us in our 9-chair practice. The Opportunity:

We have a versatile, exciting and rewarding opportunity at ourBlackburn Southlocation, available for an experienced Practice Manager seeking permanent full-time work (Monday to Fridays):

  • Coaching, leading & developing a high performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients
  • Assist with overall financial performance of the practice in line with the approved budget
  • Maintain sterilisation, infection control standards and stock control
  • Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts
  • General administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCaps
  • Proactively marketing your practice to drive patient numbers
  • Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staff

You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a Dental Practice Manager or strong background in dental operations.
  • Operational experience for a large dental practice 6+ chairs
  • Demonstrated business and people management skills
  • Strong organisational, administrative, and time management abilities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Solid understanding of financial performance, including P&L management
  • Ability to generate income and manage costs effectively
  • Confidence in handling challenging conversations and resolving issues promptly
  • Comfortable engaging with a diverse range of people – from dentists and patients to practice teams
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong business acumen
