About You

  • Passionate about hospitality, guest experience, and operational excellence
  • Previous experience in Reservations or Front Office within a luxury or premium hotel environment
  • Strong understanding of hotel systems such as Opera PMS, MARSHA, or similar
  • Excellent leadership, training, and communication skills
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
  • Skilled in multitasking and managing time effectively under pressure
  • Knowledge of group bookings, rate management, and billing processes
  • A collaborative team player who leads with professionalism and empathy
  • Full working rights in Australia

About The Role

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Reservations team across multiple properties, ensuring accuracy in all reservations, room blocks, and group codes
  • Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, email, or system, ensuring prompt and professional responses
  • Verify room availability and rates, applying appropriate sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Review and implement new reservations procedures and ensure compliance with Marriott policies and brand standards
  • Supervise and support team members, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance development
  • Handle guest inquiries and special requests, resolving challenges efficiently while maintaining a positive guest experience
  • Ensure billing accounts are properly set up in accordance with accounting policies
  • Communicate with Sales, Revenue, and Front Office teams to coordinate group bookings and ensure a seamless guest journey
  • Maintain accuracy in systems and reports, ensuring alignment between MARSHA, PMS, and group data
  • Act as the first point of contact for escalated guest or system issues, providing effective solutions or escalation as needed
  • Support management in scheduling, training, and motivating team members to achieve departmental goals
  • Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to brand standards in every interaction
