Carlisle Adventist College is seeking a hands-on, innovative Technologies and Manual Arts Teacher (Years 7–12) to join our team in 2026.
This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys practical, design-based learning and can inspire students to develop creativity, craftsmanship, and technical skills in a safe, well-equipped environment.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging programs in Design, Industrial Technology, and Engineering Principles.
- Teach a range of materials technologies, including wood, metal, or digital fabrication.
- Promote safe workshop practices and maintain organised, compliant learning spaces.
- Integrate faith, design thinking, and problem-solving into real-world learning contexts.
- Collaborate with colleagues across STEM and Design faculties to extend student learning.
Requirements
- A relevant teaching qualification with specialisation in Technologies, Industrial Arts, or Design & Technology.
- Eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
- Demonstrated workshop safety knowledge and effective classroom management.
- A commitment to Christian values and the mission of Carlisle Adventist College.

Salary Range: $88,000 – $122,000 (depending on experience, excluding superannuation).
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Australia and hold a valid Working With Children Check.
