About the Role

This is more than a traditional sales role. You'll be the face of Armstrong Ceiling Solutions in NSW, working with major projects and customers, and delivering commercial results through a spec–track–close strategy.

A critical focus of this role is managing and growing relationships with distributors, resellers, and contractors who represent our key channel to market. You'll drive product awareness, support sell-through, and ensure our partners are equipped to succeed in a competitive market.

From influencing design early to securing contractor sales, you'll deliver market share growth and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Your playground:

  • Be a Market Maker: You won't just manage our distributor and contractor network you will equip them for success, and together, dominate the market.
  • Own the Pipeline: Hunt down and secure major projects, transforming complex blueprints into tangible sales and soaring market share.
  • Build a Legacy of Relationships: Become the go to expert for top tier architects, designers, and builders. Your insight will directly influence the next generation of iconic Australian buildings.
  • Drive the Future: Launch cutting edge products and gather crucial market intelligence that shapes our national strategy.

Who you are:

  • We're looking for someone with energy, initiative, and a strong understanding of the commercial construction space.
  • A battle-tested professional with 5+ years of "on-site" or trade sales experience, preferably in building products.
  • You can read a construction drawings.
  • A channel champion who knows how to form relationships with a network of distributors and contractors to achieve collective victory.
  • A master connector with great communication and negotiation skills, able to build trust with everyone from the site foreman to the design principal.
  • Driven and entrepreneurial, with a project-management mindset that thrives on finding solutions, not just identifying problems.
  • You bring the energy. You're self-driven, commercially savvy, and you know that a great sense of humour and a can-do attitude are the ultimate secret weapons.
