The Landscape Store is looking to hire a full time Trade Retail Lead.

Founded in 2021, The Landscape Store is a fast-growing retailer with a strong online presence backing our Sydney (Artarmon) warehouse and shopfront. We specialise in the technical side of landscaping—irrigation, lighting, drainage and more—and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us as we help tradies win jobs every day. The Role

Use your existing landscape trade knowledge to be the first point of contact for our high-value trade customers, new and existing — with a focus on helping them win jobs and succeed. This is a unique role combining customer service, technical problem-solving, fast quotes, and irrigation design.

Tasks include:

  • Handle technical enquiries via email, phone & in-store including irrigation, drainage, garden lighting, sealers & cleaners.
  • Prepare quotes for our trade customers, then follow up to convert
  • Produce irrigation designs & BOMs — training provided
  • Serve shop front walk-ins
  • Plan and execute Supplier Training Days and Trade BBQs (with team support)
  • Be on our stand at trade expos: engage tradies, answer technical questions, and log quality leads.
  • Staying up to date with the latest product launches from suppliers
  • Work with & communicate directly with premium brands including Hunter, Rain Bird, Hide & Stain Proof to grow our offering

What are we looking for

  • You'll have a trade background & ready to move off the tools or experience in a similar trade sales position
  • Friendly, professional communicator; tidy notes and follow-through
  • Comfortable on email/computer
  • Strong technical knowledge of landscape trade & irrigation is preferred (we'll upskill you)

Hours and availability

The position is full time Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm.

Located in Artarmon industrial zone, 3 minutes walk from bus stops on Pacific Hwy, 15 minute walk from Artarmon Train Station.
