About the role

Boatshed Market is seeking an experienced and skilled CHEF - COLD LARDER to join our vibrant and award-winning kitchen team in Perth.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and present a wide range of cold dishes and cold platters, including salads, cold meats, terrines, cold starters and desserts.
  • Ensure all dishes meet the highest standards of quality, consistency and presentation
  • Assist in the daily operation of the kitchen, including inventory management, stock rotation and food preparation
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to implement new menu items and seasonal changes
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic and organised work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to any customer enquiries

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality or food service industry
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of food preparation, presentation and food safety regulations
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative flair and an eye for detail to produce visually appealing dishes
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Passion for using high-quality, fresh and local produce
