The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Senior Policy Officer to be part of our Industry Strategy & Partnerships Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.

The Senior Policy Officer is a role within the Industry, Strategy and Partnerships Division and is accountable to the General Manager, Strategy & Policy. The Senior Policy Officer provides a range of assistance to Industry, Strategy and Partnerships staff in work relating to PIRSA strategic policy initiatives and policy reform projects.

Special Conditions

  • Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment.
  • Australian residency or current works permit is required (responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a current work permit).
  • Opportunity up to June 2026
  • Full time opportunity, 37.5 hours per week

Requirements

  • Holding a current driver's licence and a willingness to drive.
  • Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel may be required.
  • You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations
  • Some meetings and attendance at networking events may be required outside of standard working hours

Remuneration

ASO6 - $98,478 min - $104,165 max per annum, plus superannuation
