Role Overview

Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the senior leadership team and operations departments throughout the business. This role is newly created to support reporting and analysis to provide strategic insights and commercial advice for business decisions.

This is a hands-on role that will require the successful applicant to be involved in a wide range of tasks and responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities of the role include, but not limited to:
  • Month-end, management reports
  • Cost analysis and manufacturing costs management.
  • Stocktake and stock variance analysis.
  • ERP ownership (Business Central)
  • Preparation of annual revenue and cost budgets.
  • Preparation of cash flow forecast.
  • Management of a growing Finance Team
  • Backup AP/AR and payroll.
  • Assist the business to set up for and implement an ECommerce platform
  • Other projects and ad hoc duties as required.

Experience required

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting, economics or business-related disciplines.
  • 3-5 years' experience in relevant role, manufacturing experience is highly regarded.
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central is highly regarded.
  • Experience building PowerBI dashboards is highly regarded.
  • Strong MS Excel skills and experience in an environment with multiple systems.
  • Detail orientated, highly numerical with complex problem-solving skills and proactive aptitude.
  • Continuous improvement and exceptional commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • People Management experience
  • An enthusiastic, can do attitude, with the wiliness to get involved in all levels of accounting and finance
