Meaningful Work From Day One

We are seeking a highly capable Senior HR Generalist to provide dedicated, high-impact support to our Head of HR, with a particular focus on partnering the Sales and Marketing senior leadership group. 

You will be the vital link between daily HR operations and strategic business objectives, specifically across our dynamic Sales and Marketing teams. Your responsibilities will center on administering complex HR processes, ensuring data integrity, providing actionable reporting and analysis, and managing key HR cycles (performance management, workforce planning) that directly impact these critical business functions.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position.

What You Can Expect

  • Partners with leaders across recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding tasks.

  • Partners with Brown-Forman's Global Recruiting team and leaders in the recruitment and selection process, from job description development, interviewing, talent selection, and offer.

  • Partners with HRBP to ensure a successful onboarding experience for new employees, including communication with employees, and partnering with the hiring manager to ensure a robust onboarding plan is in place for each new hire.

  • Provide support to leaders and employees with queries on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.

  • Partner leaders through performance review processes and support performance improvement where needed

  • Maintain and update contracts, policies, and employee records

  • Drive engagement, wellbeing, and culture initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work, WHS, and other relevant legislation

  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs

  • Prepare HR reports and provide insights for workforce planning

  • Works closely with the HRBP team, providing support as it relates to employee data and reporting, deploying workforce planning, performance management, and all HR related matters. Researches and analyzes data related to HR. 

  • Develops and maintains close working relationships with a broad scope of employees across Brown-Forman to ensure timely coordination and accomplishment of assigned responsibilities. 

  • Identifies opportunities for continuous process improvement and implements changes within the scope of the role.

  • Partners with HR to understand and own the process of creating files necessary to load organisation changes into Workday.  Coordinates with the People Systems team to load the changes.  Audits organisation changes to ensure data integrity.

  • Supports HRBPs on special projects/administrative needs.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HR function, with a strong operational understanding of HR processes and basic employment law.

  • Deep proficiency with HR Information Systems, specifically Workday, is highly preferred.

  • Exceptional organisational skills, with a proven ability to plan, organise, work independently, and manage multiple, detailed assignments promptly.

  • A detail-oriented, process-oriented, and problem-solving mindset is essential for maintaining data accuracy and supporting complex organisational structures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated across a broad scope of internal stakeholders, enabling effective coordination and relationship building.

  • Strong computer skills with proficient knowledge of Google G Suite [Slides, Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar, and Mail], Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other software, as needed.  

  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws, HR practices, and cultural considerations within the region.

What Makes You Unique

  • Relevant HR Certification (Degree qualified, PHR, SPHR, or equivalent).

  • Demonstrated experience supporting Sales or Marketing functions in a previous HR role.

Hybrid Role: Monday to Thursday in the office / Friday flexible work from home.
