YMH is a leading builder of modular dwellings and commercial buildings servicing the Lifestyle, Tourism and Commercial sectors. With facilities in both Mulwala NSW and Bendigo VI, all our modular buildings are designed and built to the very highest standards with a true focus on quality.

We are seeking a Draftsperson to join our team in Mulwala, NSW. The position is full-time and based out of our head office in Mulwala with an employer who values your team and solution driven mindset. You will need to be a confident, detail-oriented individual ready to thrive in a busy administrative setting.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Building Design or Architecture

Skills required:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Draftsperson in the residential sector.
  • Relevant qualifications in Building Design or Architecture.
  • Proficient in Revit with demonstrated experience (essential).
  • Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and compliance requirements (NCC, Australian Standards, BASIX, CDC/DA).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams (architects, engineers, site, production).
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed architectural plans and accurate working drawings using Revit.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with relevant regulations, codes, and construction standards.
  • Review and update plans to meet evolving project requirements.
  • Develop pragmatic designs that are both visually appealing and cost-effective.
  • Incorporate feedback from the Construction Team to improve design outcomes.
  • Apply strong technical drawing principles, including dimensioning, scaling, and tolerances.
  • Develop and maintain master files, templates, and documentation systems.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and deliver precise, high-quality outputs.
  • Effectively manage time and prioritise tasks to meet project deadlines.
