Job Description

Our organisation is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of efficient and effective planning, resource allocation, work order administration, procurement, and monitoring of parts.

The Maintenance Planner will plan Australian Defence Force network maintenance activities and programmed maintenance activities using Commonwealth Mandated Information Systems. They will liaise with our Defence client to schedule weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance planning. The successful candidate will also contribute to continuous innovation by identifying improvement initiatives, analysing, and recommending improvements to current practices.

  • Develop and implement maintenance plans that meet customer requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage maintenance activities to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in planning and scheduling mechanical maintenance activities within a complex industrial environment.
  • Trade or tertiary qualification in a mechanical or engineering field and/or tertiary qualification in planning, scheduling, or a related field.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office 365 and working knowledge of SAP.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.
