With operations in South East Queensland (Hendra Head Office) and Melbourne, our family-owned company employs 110 staff and has gained a reputation for providing our clients with the highest level of service. The number of long term employees (10 years plus) demonstrates the quality of our workplace. For over 25 years we have been providing Horticultural Services to a diverse range of clients across multiple locations.

THE ROLE

As part of our Finance team of three, the role is based at our Tingalpa head office and reports to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for the Accounts Payable and Payroll functions, including the following duties:

Accounts Payable

  • Invoice processing;
  • Matching and coding;
  • Checking expense claims;
  • Dealing with supplier queries;
  • Preparing and allocating costs to the appropriate G/L accounts and teams;
  • Obtaining relevant authorization for payment
  • Manage and process credit card returns for company
  • Preparation of EFT payment runs
  • Account / statement reconciliations
  • Liaising with field and operations staff
  • Other Administrative duties

Payroll functions

  • Weekly payroll processing
  • Payroll Reporting
  • New employee onboarding
  • Leave Management
  • Letters of appointment
  • Other Administrative duties

We are seeking an individual with a minimum 3 years Accounts Payable and Payroll experience with excellent computer skills including Microsoft office 365, Excel and Word. Experience with MYOB, Payroll systems,  SharePoint, Teams and working in a paperless environment will be highly regarded. You will enjoy working as part of a small team and have the communication and time management skills to deal with suppliers and meet reporting and processing deadlines. You will have attention to detail and a focus on internal controls and reconciliations. Some Work from home after qualifying period.
