The Opportunity

We're seeking a detail-oriented Credit Officer to join our Finance Operations team.

In this role, you'll play a key part in reducing credit risk, managing customer onboarding and securities, and ensuring compliance with credit policies and ACCC regulations. You'll collaborate closely with the Accounts Receivable and Sales teams to ensure smooth processes and timely customer account management.

Training for this position will commence in our Clayton office, where you'll participate in a dedicated one-on-one training program to ensure you're set up for success. Once training is completed, you'll transition to our Preston office on a permanent basis.

This is a hands-on role that requires sound judgement, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced finance environment.

What You'll Do

• Manage customer onboarding and account setup, ensuring documentation accuracy
• Support credit risk reduction through security reviews and PPSR lodgements
• Monitor credit reporting alerts and maintain Equifax records
• Assist with credit policy compliance and support Credit Committee reporting
• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve credit queries and ensure smooth operations

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years' experience in a finance operations or credit-related role
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with SAP or Salesforce (advantageous)
• Attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines
• Team-focused approach with a willingness to learn
