Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Estimator located in Penrith, NSW. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project plans and specifications, communicating with subcontractors and suppliers, and participating in bid processes. The role also involves collaborating with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, the Senior Estimator will be expected to analyze cost data and prepare detailed reports for management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cost estimating and project bidding
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and processes
  • Proficiency in estimating software and advanced Excel capabilities
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently
  • Experience in civil excavation, demolition, and drainage is a plus
