Threadgold Plummer Hood was established in 2004 and has become the leading Film & TV boutique payroll and accounting software company in Australia with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast and London.
We have a small and friendly team of co-workers.
Our Office is located a short walk to many great cafe's and lunchtime eateries in Melbourne's CBD. VLine, Train and Tram transport are all located minutes from our office.
About the role
An excellent full-time opportunity exists for an experienced assistant accountant to become part of a dynamic accounting team working with our clients on a variety of productions from Reality TV, TV Drama, Streaming shows and Feature Films.
You will be responsible for assisting our clients complete their payroll using our inhouse payroll system as well as helping other team members.
You will be responsible to ensure the accuracy of the payroll and meet strict deadlines.

Skills and experience
Onsite training and mentoring will be provided to the successful applicant.
Advanced Excel skills.
Previous experience working in payroll is an advantage but not required.
The job requires a high degree of organization, accuracy, typing speed, strong attention to detail, very good written and verbal communication skills, a team player and demonstrated ability to meet tight time frames whilst remaining calm at all times
