As Guru Kirpa Wash Club Pty Ltd trading as Silver Sponge Hand Car Wash Garden City scales its footprint across Australia, we are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our car wash and detailing outlets. This is a customer facing leadership role responsible for managing teams, ensuring service excellence, driving sales and executing smooth operational performance across sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations across one or more outlets.
- Lead and manage frontline staff, including detailers, cashiers and service coordinators.
- Ensure high standards of customer experience and satisfaction.
- Manage stock levels, procurement, inventory control and vendor relationships.
- Monitor and improve KPIs including revenue, customer retention, service times and feedback scores.
- Handle customer issues, resolve complaints and ensure timely service delivery.
- Implement marketing campaigns, upsell services and drive customer engagement.
- Maintain compliance with safety, hygiene and quality protocols.
- Minimum 3+ years of retail or service outlet management experience.
- Prior experience in the automotive, hospitality or franchise operations space will be highly regarded.
- Strong people management and team leadership skills.
- Proven track record of hitting sales and customer service targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic proficiency in POS systems, scheduling tools and MS Office and/or Google Workspace.
