About You

We are looking for a Performance Test Analyst star in the software community, someone who is passionate about elevating the QA profession and ideally brings experience from a professional services/consulting background.

Please note:
This is a short-term 2 month engagement with possible extensions and is based on-site in Brisbane. No remote work is available.

Mandatory:
Must be an Australian Citizen and possess
NV1
security clearance.

The experience, skills and attributes we are looking for include but are not limited to:

  • 5+ years experience in focused software performance testing (non-functional testing)
  • Extensive and demonstrable skills in
    JMeter (Mandatory)
  • Experience in various scripting languages is desirable
  • Working knowledge and skills in other performance frameworks such as LoadRunner, Silk or Neoload is desirable but not essential
  • Proven ability to follow performance best practices and coding standards to deliver tests that are reusable, scalable, and easy to maintain.
  • Possess a deep understanding of application functionality, business rules, and customer journeys to drive continuous performance improvements.
  • Have designed, implemented, and maintained CI/CD pipelines that provide fast, reliable performance feedback and safeguard application quality.
  • Ability to relate well to the non-technical people and clearly explain technical concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound interpersonal skills

Qualifications & desirables:

  • ISTQB certifications is desirable
  • Relevant Degree or Tertiary qualification (IT, Technology, Testing) or equivalent experience would be desirable
  • Government sector projects experience is desirable
