About the role
Join our dynamic team at IWP Training as a Trainer and Assessor based in Warrawong, NSW. In this varied and engaging role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment services to our vocational education and training (VET) students. This role provides regular ongoing hours and your flexibility is important to allow us to meet the needs of our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver engaging training sessions across a range of vocational education and training (VET) subjects including High Risk Work, Construction and Industry Safety Courses.
- Assess students' competency and provide constructive feedback and support for their learning and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate student records and comply with all relevant policies, procedures and legislation.
- Continuously update your industry knowledge and teaching skills to ensure training content is current and relevant.
- Collaborate with the training team to continuously improve the quality of our course offerings.
What we're looking for
Relevant vocational qualifications and demonstrated experience as a Trainer and Assessor in the education and training industry.
Minimum required credentials: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (40122, 40116 or 40110)
- HRW Licence preferred
- SafeWork HRW Licence Accredited Assessors highly regarded
- Current industry experience in your field
- Sound knowledge of the vocational education and training (VET) sector, including current training packages and assessment methodologies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for facilitating student success
