Summary:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of our Brisbane office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks, managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and ensuring the smooth running of the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, office events, conferences and travel arrangements
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails
  • Manage and maintain office files and records
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents
  • Provide administrative support to the team as needed
  • Ensure the office is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Organise and maintain purchase order register
  • Handle confidential information with discretion

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Communication: Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail when managing project documentation and reporting.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address project risks, delays, and issues with proactive solutions.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently and as part of a team where directed.

Hours of Work:

We are ideally looking for a person to work full-time (Monday to Friday 40hrs per week). However, we understand that flexibility is important, especially for those balancing work and family life. We are open to discussing flexible start and finish times and possible reduced hours such as school hours 9.00am - 3.00pm.
