About The Opportunity

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead our Fresh Produce warehouse operations at our Rocklea site and play a key role in driving excellence across our state logistics network.

This role goes beyond managing logistics, it's about embracing leadership. In this Role

• Lead the execution of daily warehouse activities to achieve high performance in safety, service, people, and cost outcomes
• Manage and mentor a team of supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
• Champion a proactive safety culture by embedding safe work practices, maintaining compliance with WHS, COR, and HACCP standards, and leading injury prevention initiatives
• Ensure inbound, outbound, and DIFOT (Delivery in Full on Time) targets are consistently met, while minimising errors and optimising transport and scheduling efficiency
• Collaborate with business partners to prepare for daily operations, special events, and contingencies, ensuring minimal cost or service disruption
• Track daily and weekly KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and lead swift corrective action to ensure performance aligns with business goals and budget
• Build strong relationships across all levels, champion training and succession planning, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment
• Work closely with commercial and DC teams to manage labour, expenses, and shrinkage, ensuring accurate forecasting and proactive cost-saving initiatives

You're Likely a Match If

• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations within a high-volume distribution environment
• Proven track record in managing and maintaining high standards of workplace health and safety
• Demonstrated success in leading and motivating large operational teams (30+ team members)
• Familiarity with automated warehouse systems and experience with IBS (preferred but not essential)
• Strong leadership capabilities with a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
• Experience in fostering a positive team culture and driving organisational change
• Commercially minded with prior responsibility for budgets and P&L performance
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
