Responsibilities will include:

  • Major / minor repairs of fixed and mobile plant and equipment

  • Provide assistance with plant and equipment breakdowns

  • Provide assistance with minor welding on plant and equipment

  • Participate in preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all plant and equipment

  • Work in accordance with a daily plan for routine maintenance and complete relevant maintenance records

  • Participate in various continuous improvement and other programs as required

  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with our site safety, environmental and quality procedures

To be successful, you will have:

  • Trade qualifications as a Fitter and/or Boilermaker with experience in Conveyors, Motors and Gearboxes

  • Forklift Tickets an added advantage, but willing to train

  • Ability & willingness to pass a medical in line with the requirements of the role

  • Experience in a similar position within a similar industry

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or in a team environment

  • Display flexibility with operations and maintenance
