We are seeking an experienced and motivated Logistics & Dispatch Coordinator to manage our outbound warehouse operations based at the Port of Brisbane.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork.

The Opportunity

This is a permanent, full-time position working within our warehouse team.

The role is integral to the smooth operation of the business, ensuring all customer orders are dispatched on time and in full.

Accuracy and organisation are key to maintaining our commitment to exceptional service and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Coordination

  • Liaise and coordinate with transport providers and customers to manage daily freight bookings.
  • Plan and allocate bookings using external transport provider portals.
  • Ensure all dispatches are booked accurately, delivered on time, and communicated professionally.
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely collections and drop-offs.
  • Communicate with customers to determine appropriate delivery days and requirements.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls, emails, and portal updates promptly and professionally.
  • Identify potential delivery delays or issues, proactively resolving and communicating with all stakeholders.

Dispatch Operations

  • Coordinate daily dispatch activities, ensuring orders are packed, staged, and loaded accurately.
  • Prepare delivery dockets, consignment notes, and assign to pallets correctly.
  • Maintain an organised dispatch area to efficiently meet scheduled collections.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to plan and prioritise outgoing orders.
  • Load outbound transport vehicles safely and efficiently.

About You

You are a hard-working team player with a proactive and positive attitude. In addition, you will have:

  • A current, valid driver's licence (essential)
  • A forklift licence – (essential)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A professional approach to customer service and coordination
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Computer literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
