Seeking a Casual | Contract or Part-Time employee to join our fast growing, dynamic and fun team.

Let Life Sparkle Events & Hire (LLS) is an event hire company specialising in event design and styling, furniture hire and decorations for corporate events / activations, weddings, and events in Sydney and greater NSW.

This role involves maintaining all products, ensuring all products are packed away in the warehouse correctly and in the right position, loading, and possible deliveries, while ensuring that all items are delivered promptly and professionally.

Your role will also include the following (but not limited to):

  • Supervise delivery and returns at the warehouse
  • Assisting with the preparation and loading of orders into the delivery vehicle.
  • Perform quality control checks.
  • Ensuring goods are securely stowed and covered to prevent loss or damage.
  • Following the designated route and time schedule.
  • Unloading goods at the event location, including unpacking and setting up if needed.
  • When needed, assisting with setting up and/or packing down from events around Sydney. (Our events vary in different locations).
  • Inspecting inventory items for damage during pick-up.
  • Unpacking vans and putting stock away in allocated sections.
  • Maintaining the delivery vehicle's cleanliness and general upkeep.
  • Adhering to safety standards at all times.
  • Representing LLS in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Working efficiently.
  • Communicating any important notes to clients and/or colleagues.
  • Refueling the delivery vehicles.
  • Clean and repair stock from time to time

What you need to possess:

  • Australian driver's license class C
  • Able to drive our Long Wheelbase Vans
  • Fluent English
  • Must be fit, and able to lift Props above 20kg.
  • Forklift license is a Bonus.
  • Must be flexible with hours with possible weekend work on a Saturday & Sunday
  • Must be open to midnight pack-down / pickup from venue's.
  • No previous experience needed, however a big bonus
  • Police check.
  • Experience: Delivery driving - 1 year (Preferred)
  • Work Authorisation: Australia (Required)

The successful candidates will have the ability to become full-time employees at the discretion of LLS.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Casual, Subcontract

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
