As the Warehouse Leading Hand, you will have
**one** direct report and will ensure daily warehouse operations are successful. Inventory management is vital and should be managed in a cost-effective and timely manner.

This role would suit someone coming from a Leading Hand/Warehouse Supervisor background with knowledge in industrial products, hardware, and consumables. You will report directly to the Branch Operations Manager.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Plan and execute** daily functions of the operations to ensure all activities are processed
- **Management **of back end processing and freight IN/OUT
- **Ensure** all freight is sorted accurately and in a manner that will reduce product damage
- **Supervise** and adapt inventory measures to ensure adherence to branch processes
- **Work** alongside the branch manager to achieve a strategic branch plan

**To be successful in this role you need to**:

- **Proven operations experience** in a high volume and fast-paced environment is essential.
- **Knowledge **of industrial products is a bonus
- **Ability **to identify areas of improvements and make effective changes taking into consideration resources and constraints.
- **Computer literate **at an intermediate with MS Office skills - including Excel, Word and Outlook, PowerPoint. Pronto experience advantageous
