THE PERSON

You're a passionate cook who takes pride in your work and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen. You're flexible, reliable, and eager to grow your skills. Ideally, you have experience in high-volume production or large-scale catering, and you're comfortable working across different stations.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Is quick on their feet and able to follow instructions with precision

THE POSITION

We're on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic cook to join our corporate catering team in Southbank. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, offering a stable schedule and a dynamic work environment. You'll play a key role in daily food preparation, kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard, following set menus and recipes
  • Assisting with bulk production and catering for large groups
  • Rotating through various kitchen tasks including prep, cooking, plating, and cleaning
  • Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Supporting the broader kitchen team and contributing to a positive team culture
