Vectiq
is seeking an experienced
Penetration Tester
to support the delivery of critical Cyber Security Services within a high-security government environment. This role offers the chance to contribute directly to strengthening Australia's national cyber resilience while working alongside top-tier professionals.

We're looking for individuals with hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and simulated cyberattack exercises. The ideal candidate thrives in complex environments and has a strong understanding of PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight frameworks.

  • Permanent / Contract (long term engagement)
  • Onsite in Canberra
  • NV1 level project - Higher clearance are welcome to apply
  • Start Date:
    In phases, with start dates scheduled between now and over the next 12 months depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth penetration testing across systems, applications, APIs, and cloud environments.
  • Lead exercises to identify and address security weaknesses.
  • Perform security configuration reviews and vulnerability assessments.
  • Develop and maintain security testing processes, documentation, and reports.

Requirements

  • Active
    NV1 Security Clearance
    (higher clearances welcome).
  • Strong technical and communication skills; ability to collaborate across cyber domains.
  • Based or open to relocate in
    Canberra
