Bexton Consulting is an Australian-owned and privately held IT consulting and recruitment firm. We have consulting practices in the areas of Project Services, Cloud & Infrastructure, Data, and Digital Solutions & Platforms. We have a recruitment practice that hires our internal consultants and also finds contractors and permanent staff for our clients. We have multiple engagement models with our clients, from outsourced projects/solutions to co-sourced teams of people to individuals. Our goal is to be the supplier of choice to large corporations and government departments for external IT solution expertise and labour.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Network Architect to join our team for a multi-year, large-scale client program of work. This person will need deep knowledge in Cisco and Palo Alto technologies and must have previous experience in complex network transformation and network hardening projects.
What you'll be doing
- The client has a very complicated and expensive network environment.
- This multi-year program of work will deliver a simplified and practical network environment that delivers stability and performance requirements and adheres to ASD Federal Government standards.
- You will be the lead network architect, working with our client's architects and multiple vendors to review, re-design and implement network changes, delivering incremental and measurable benefits.
What we're looking for
- Must have NV1 clearance or higher.
- 10 + years of experience as a Network Architect
- Demonstrated experience as the Lead Network Architect in a large-scale Network Transformation or Network Hardening project.
- Must have a deep understanding of Palo Alto and Cisco technologies.
- A practical and pragmatic person who has a strong character and has the ability to work well with diverse stakeholders to deliver program goals
