As part of their growth, we're seeking a Network Solutions Architect with deep expertise in optical networking to play a key role in shaping, designing, and guiding large-scale network solutions for major customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and architecture of advanced optical and packet networking solutions, covering DWDM, OTN, and open networking technologies.
  • Engage with enterprise and service provider customers to capture requirements, translate them into scalable architectures, and deliver future-ready designs.
  • Provide technical leadership through presales, solution design, and project delivery phases.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, bringing innovative ideas around network automation, SDN, and next-gen optical transport.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring solutions align with both business goals and technical best practices.

Ideal Background

  • Proven experience as a Network Architect or Senior Network Engineer specialising in optical transport and packet networking.
  • Hands-on knowledge of DWDM systems, open networking platforms, and OTN technologies.
  • Experience working with multiple vendor ecosystems (e.g., Cisco, Nokia, Ciena, Infinera, Juniper, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of carrier-class networking, high-capacity backbones, and data centre interconnects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for different audiences.
