Urgent requirement of Senior MS SQL Developer - Contract - MelbourneRequirements Year, extensive development experience in MS SQL Server 2008R2/2012/2014/2016/2019/2022 instance.Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, resource contentions, connectivity issues, security issues etc.Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, Profiler, SSMS, DMVs, system procedures and other troubleshooting tools to analyze and tune databases and SQL queries for optimal efficiency.Strong knowledge of indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching, how statistics work, how indexes are stored, how they can be created and managed effectively.SQL Development – ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints) and developing/automating database maintenance scriptsSound knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server operating systems with an emphasis on maintaining large data volumes (> 4 TB) on multi-disk arrays.Knowledge of Microsoft reporting services and developing custom reports SSRS.Designing and developing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages and SSAS systems and Active Directory operation.Proven experience in working alongside multiple teamsUnderstanding ITIL and deployment/release processesProven experience in large and complex corporate networksMicrosoft SQL certification requiredExcellent analytical skills and the ability to make technical decisionsA preparedness to take the initiative and a strong desire to achieve resultsMust possess strong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized and with the ability to prioritize and multitask Duration: 06 Months and possible extension Eligibility: Australian/NZ Citizens/PR Holders only Email: ​
