Melbourne, Australia | Posted on 10/27/2025 Urgentrequirement of Senior MS SQL Developer - Contract - Melbourne Requirements - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, resource contentions, connectivity issues, security issues etc. - Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, Profiler, SSMS, DMVs, system procedures and other troubleshooting tools to analyze and tune databases and SQL queries for optimal efficiency. - Strong knowledge of indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching, how statistics work, how indexes are stored, how they can be created and managed effectively. - SQL Development – ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints) and developing/automating database maintenance scripts - Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server operating systems with an emphasis on maintaining large data volumes (> 4 TB) on multi-disk arrays. - Knowledge of Microsoft reporting services and developing custom reports SSRS. - Designing and developing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages and SSAS systems and Active Directory operation. - Understanding ITIL and deployment/release processes - Proven experience in large and complex corporate networks - Microsoft SQL certification required - Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make technical decisions - A preparedness to take the initiative and a strong desire to achieve results - Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills - Highly organized and with the ability to prioritize and multitask Duration: 06 Monthsandpossible extension Eligibility:Australian/NZCitizens/PR Holders only #J-18808-Ljbffr
