Are you passionate about developing generative models to transform the next generation of e-commerce platform and build AI models used by millions of customers? We invite you to be part of our high-performing Computer Vision team at Amazon located in Melbourne, Australia.

As a member of our international Machine Learning group, you will work closely with other senior scientists in developing generative AI solutions that leverage vast amounts of Amazon data and advanced cloud computing resources.

Our mission is to create next-generation media content that delivers an unforgettable shopping experience for our customers in emerging marketplaces. We are seeking talented Computer Vision Scientists with a Masters in Computer Science or in a related field. This is an opportunity for you to build innovative AI techniques that tackle real-world business challenges. Key job responsibilities

  • Build, train and evaluate generative AI models tailored to our business use cases
  • Communicate clearly within the team to understand and align on scope and requirements
  • Implement novel machine learning techniques to solve customer problems
  • Publish papers at Tier-1 CV/ML conferences
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience programming or scripting language like Python, Java, C or C++
  • Have publications on top-tier conferences, such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV or NeurIPS
  • Masters in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience implementing algorithms using both toolkits and self-developed code
  • Experience researching about machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, data science
  • Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment
