Small Projects Manager (HVAC)

Westside are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our small projects team to drive our HVAC Service Department forward. This is an exciting role as it has multiple growth corridors. We are expanding our offerings to existing clients and seeking further growth into new market opportunities.

The Opportunity

The role is ideal for a driven professional who thrives on managing multiple small-scale projects and enjoys the challenge of contributing to business growth. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate industry knowledge coupled with leadership qualities. You will be able to use your talents to manage & deliver small projects within our client base under $250k, whilst assisting the growth of the Service Department.

Future opportunities to complete the nationally recognised AMCA Project Management course.

Knowledge in HVAC service, maintenance and projects will benefit your application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing end-to-end delivery of HVAC projects, including on-site coordination and quality handovers of completed projects to the Service Department.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, whilst maintaining quality and safety standards.

  • Follow leads within our client base of over 300 sites and tender opportunities to maintain a forward order book.

  • Facilitate site visits and meetings with clients and sub-contractors.

  • Manage budgets, project timelines and sub-contractors.

  • Quality handovers of all completed projects to the Service Manager and Administration team.

  • Build and maintain exceptional relationships with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers.

  • Coordination of stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, sub-contractors and internal teams.

  • Mentor and assist the team in successful Project outcomes.

About you:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience managing HVAC projects in the commercial industry.

  • Good knowledge of the HVAC systems and the broader industry.

  • Excellent communicator and effective stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem solver.

  • Experience using Simpro or similar project management software.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Formal qualifications or experience in HVAC and/or Project Management.

  • Proven ability in budget control, contractor and resource management.
