Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia EcOz Environmental Consultants Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

EcOz are looking for mid to senior level consultants with mining experience to join our Impact Assessment and Approvals team.

EcOz is currently delivering a number of high-profile projects across a broad range of industries, including mining, for government and private clients. As a consultant in the approvals team you will be supporting the delivery of environmental and social impact assessment studies to support mining approvals.

The ideal candidate will have experience in some or all of the following:

Preparation of Mine Management Plans for both exploration and mining activities

Guiding clients through environmental constraints, risks and approvals pathways

Preparation of environmental approval documentation to support exploration and operational mining proposals

Liaison and collaboration with regulators and other stakeholders in the project development and planning stages

Project management, including budget tracking, scheduling and maintaining client relationships

Management and support of subconsultants to deliver technical studies or assessments required to support mining approvals

Experience within the Northern Territory is regarded but not necessary

Degree in Environmental Science, Planning, or similar discipline

Strong written and verbal communication skills
