About the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Delivery, the Procurement Officer will support the end-to-end delivery of MPower's solar and battery storage projects by managing all procurement activities from pre-contract through to project completion.

This role will see you working closely with engineering, delivery, and commercial teams to source, evaluate, and engage suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You'll also play a key role in developing procurement tools,

managing supplier performance, and supporting project bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

● Manage procurement for solar and BESS projects

● Identify, assess, and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors.

● Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate submissions, and negotiate commercial terms.

● Maintain supplier relationships to ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets are achieved.

● Support bid planning and tender documentation for new projects.

● Collaborate with engineering, finance, and legal teams to align procurement activities.

● Maintain procurement registers and ensure compliance with internal policies.

● Contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes and documentation.

About You:

● Tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Construction

Management.

● 3–5+ years' experience in procurement within renewable energy, infrastructure, or construction sectors.

● Strong understanding of supplier management, tendering, and contract negotiation.

● Proven ability to manage multiple procurement packages and deadlines.

● Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

● Proficient in MS Office, and experience with Aconex, Oracle, or Procore is highly regarded.
