We're Hiring: Test Lead | Sydney (Hybrid) | Healthcare SaaS | Selenium, Appium, GitLab CI

We're building a modern healthcare platform designed to improve outcomes for patients and clinicians. We're looking for a Test Lead to take ownership of quality assurance and automation strategy across our regulated SaaS platform. You'll play a critical role in scaling test automation, integrating with developer workflows, and ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and IEC 62304.

This is a hands-on leadership role. While your core focus will be on test strategy, integration, and traceability, you'll also be expected to embed automation into developer pipelines and help lift engineering quality practices across the team.

In this role, you will:

  • Integrate our Selenium and Appium test framework into GitLab CI, Jira workflows, and Xray for automated and traceable testing
  • Automate the generation of validation evidence, test reports, and trace matrices for use in our QMS and regulatory audits
  • Ensure test coverage and traceability across all user stories and requirements under ISO 13485 and IEC 62304
  • Support and mentor engineers to write and maintain their own automated tests as part of the delivery lifecycle
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and regulatory teams to define testable requirements and improve release velocity
  • Own the testing roadmap and continuously improve coverage, tooling, and developer experience

You should have:

  • Strong test automation experience, especially with Selenium WebDriver and Appium
  • Proven ability to integrate test automation into GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Jira/Xray
  • Experience working in regulated environments (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, or similar)
  • Familiarity with software development practices and enabling developer-owned testing
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and audit support
  • Based in Sydney or East Coast Australia, with the option to work hybrid from our Sydney office
