Upcoming Assessment Centre – Supported by TRECCA

As part of our commitment to First Nations employment, we will be holding an Assessment Centre designed specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates, supported by our TRECCA (Traditional Owner Engagement, Cultural Capability & Awareness) team.
This culturally inclusive and supportive process will help you feel confident, informed, and ready to take on your new role with Ventia.


About the Role
As a Leasehand, you'll play an important support role in day-to-day rig operations. Think of it like a Trade Assistant job—but in the heart of Australia's energy sector. You'll be moving gear, helping clean and maintain the site, and backing up the crew where needed.


What You'll Gain

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in rigging up and down of site equipment
  • Support with manual labour and equipment prep
  • Keep work areas clean, safe and functional
  • Help with general site maintenance and upkeep

Who We're Looking For

  • Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • Willing to travel to Toowoomba (point of hire)
  • Holds a manual driver's licence (C Class or higher)
  • Comfortable with outdoor, physical work in remote locations
  • Brings a positive attitude and teamwork mindset
  • Able to commit to 12-hour shifts on a 15/13 FIFO roster
