- Salary range $113, $121,845.00 p.a., plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
About the role
- Provide asset services to a group of schools within the Asset Management region
- Delivery of capital works projects and all aspects of facilities management
- Support timely and effective project delivery
- Scope writing, estimation of project costs and manage budgets
- New established role within a growing team. Flexibility of working from different sites for the right candidate
School Infrastructure (SI) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.

About you
- Profound understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Stakeholder management
- Enjoy working on a range of different projects and tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware and software
- Knowledge of the use of Government Contracts
- Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
- Ability to manage Contractors
- Persistence and determination
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Current NSW Driver's License and ability to travel across the assigned Asset Management (AMU) region of Northern Sydney NSW
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

As a condition of employment, successful candidates who are not currently employed by the Department must provide a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance number. There is no requirement to renew the WWCC once it expires after five years. Employer obligations under the WWCC will apply only for the duration of its validity, up to five years.
