As the flagship hospital, Rockingham General is focused on providing high quality general medical, surgical and mental health services as well as outpatient care. Murray District Hospital offers inpatient medical services, palliative care and allied health services.

Position Description:
As part of an interdisciplinary team, the Coordinator Social Work provides high quality Social Work Services applying specialised level of knowledge and practice skills, to a diverse and complex caseload within the clinical specialty. Negotiates and collaborates with Social Work Head of Department and relevant stakeholders to support clinical service planning and delivery within the specialty areas. Provides a specialised level of Social Work advice and consultancy in the management of patients to other senior medical, nursing, and allied health staff at RkPG and external agencies. Manages staff within a team, including planned/unplanned leave, performance development and clinical supervision. Drives clinical research, quality improvement and service development in relevant clinical areas.
